Bruno Pereira is a Lecturer and Researcher at Flinders University's College of Business, Government and Law. He specializes in Artificial Intelligence, Innovation Management, and Entrepreneurship, with a focus on their application in advanced manufacturing SMEs and startups. He is affiliated with the Flinders Factory of the Future (FFF) and the Jeff Bleich Centre for Democracy and Disruptive Technologies (JBC).

His research explores how Artificial Intelligence enables innovation in business practices and advanced manufacturing. He investigates absorptive capacity frameworks, value creation through industry collaborations, and technological change in entrepreneurial ecosystems. Projects include AI-driven productivity enhancement in SMEs and future workforce development.
Current funded research includes the 2025 Strategic Industry Research Program (SIRP) project 'Enhancing Innovation and Productivity in Advanced Manufacturing SMEs through Artificial Intelligence' ($99,880 AUD) via the Flinders Factory of the Future. He has led projects funded by national/international grants totaling over $1.4 million AUD.
Bruno supervises 4 Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students and has mentored 23 industry placement students. He evaluates tech projects for Brazil's InovAtiva Program and previously founded a public entrepreneurship center supporting over 3,000 innovators through incubators and startup alliances.
Key affiliations include the Flinders Factory of the Future at Tonsley Innovation District and the Jeff Bleich Centre for Democracy and Disruptive Technologies. His work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to innovation and economic growth.
