Bruno Guindon is a Senior Lecturer and Undergraduate Chair in the Department of Philosophy at Simon Fraser University (SFU), located in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. He holds a Ph.D. from McGill University (2015), an M.A. from SFU (2008), and B.A. and B.F.A. degrees from Concordia University (2006 and 2002, respectively).
His research focuses on normativity—particularly practical and theoretical reason—as well as metaethics, normative ethics, and virtue epistemology. He explores themes such as epistemic and practical rationality, reasons for belief/action, and the structure of normative discourse.
Recent courses include Critical Thinking (PHIL 105), Topics in Law and Philosophy (PHIL 326), and Advanced Topics in Ethical Theory (PHIL 421W).
