Dr. Konda's research focuses on questions related to social identity and collective action, with particular emphasis on experimental approaches to understanding public good contributions and social networks in agricultural contexts. His work often examines these phenomena in the Indian setting, exploring how identity affects economic behavior and how social networks influence agricultural performance.
His publications demonstrate a consistent focus on experimental and behavioral approaches to economic questions, particularly examining social identity effects on public goods contributions and analyzing agricultural systems through network perspectives. Much of his research takes India as a case study, addressing development economics questions through empirical field work.
Additionally, Bruhan Konda is pursuing his PhD at the United Nations University (UNU MERIT), which aligns with his research interests in development economics and social identity.
He is involved in teaching the following courses:
- Behavioral Economics and Public Policy
- Doing Multidisciplinary Research in the Social Sciences
