Bruce Mazer

Bruce Mazer, MD is a Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at McGill University's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. He serves as a Senior Scientist at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) at the Glen site and is the Division Head of Allergy and Immunology at the Montreal Children's Hospital. His research is conducted at the Meakins-Christie Laboratories where he leads investigations into allergic diseases and immune mechanisms.

Dr. Mazer's research interests focus on B-lymphocytes, immunoglobulins, innate immunity, and the cytokine network. His laboratory investigates IL-13 and IL-13 receptors in allergic inflammation, intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) mechanisms, Toll-like receptor 4 expression in pediatric populations, and Chronic Beryllium Disease.
