Bruce M. Grant is a Professor of Anthropology at New York University. His research focuses on cultural politics in the former Soviet Union, specifically Siberia and the Caucasus. He holds affiliations with the Center for Near Eastern Studies, Department of Russian and Slavic Studies, and the Program in Experimental Humanities. His work examines intersections between cultural history, religion, and political systems.

Research Interests: Professor Grant explores how cultural narratives shape political identities in post-Soviet spaces. He combines ethnographic fieldwork with critical analysis of historical texts.
