Bruce G. Fawcett is the President and Vice Chancellor of Crandall University and a tenured Professor of Leadership and Religious Studies. He holds a PhD from the University of Wales, alongside degrees from Crandall University, Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, and Harvard University.
His career has focused on youth leadership and religious studies, including roles as a youth pastor, program developer for volunteer youth workers, and Academic Dean at Acadia Divinity College. He has authored 10 books and numerous articles on adolescent leadership development through a 25-year research collaboration.
As Crandall’s president since 2012, he spearheaded significant institutional growth: enrollment doubling, revenue tripling, campus renovations, and expanded global student recruitment. He chairs the Board of Christian Higher Education Canada and serves on numerous community boards.
Dr. Fawcett’s global travels (55+ countries) and academic collaborations, including a stint at the University of Oxford, complement his Rotary involvement and personal passions for literature, music, and outdoor activities.
