Christopher Bruce is an Assistant Professor at the School of Legal Studies within the College of Business at Husson University. Prior to his academic role, he spent 25 years in crime analysis and data-driven policing, with experience as a crime analyst, trainer, and consultant. He has held adjunct lecturer roles at multiple institutions, including Suffolk University and Tiffin University, teaching criminal justice courses both online and in-person.
Dr. Bruce earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University (1996), a Master of Science from Tiffin University (2006), and a Doctor of Criminal Justice from Pennsylvania Western University (2025). His research focuses on law enforcement data management, crime pattern analysis, and the integration of GIS technology in policing strategies.
His work emphasizes data-driven approaches to enhance public safety, including collaboration with agencies like the U.S. Department of Justice and the International Association of Crime Analysts. His articles highlight trends in crime analysis methodologies, spatial statistics, and the ethical use of technology in law enforcement.
Dr. Bruce remains active in professional associations, having held leadership roles in the International Association of Crime Analysts. His ongoing contracts with agencies ensure continued contributions to crime analysis training and policy development.
