Bruce Berkowitz

Bruce Berkowitz is a Professor of Ophthalmology at Wayne State University School of Medicine. His research focuses on developing and applying next generation imaging biomarkers for diagnosis and treatment before overt neurodegeneration occurs.

Dr. Berkowitz's research interests span multiple areas of ophthalmology and neuroscience, with particular emphasis on retinal imaging, neurodegenerative diseases, and diabetic complications. His laboratory investigates:
