Brooks S.B is an Associate Professor at the School of Management, Swansea University, within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. He currently serves as Programme Leader for the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programme launching in 2021. Previously, he held roles as Principal Lecturer at the University of Glamorgan (2000–2013) and Senior Broker Consultant at Aviva (1990–2000). He is also a Visiting Fellow at the University of Nottingham’s International Centre for CSR (2015–2018).
His teaching focuses on strategic analysis, corporate social responsibility (CSR), business ethics, and strategic agility. He has delivered sessions on CSR at the British Academy of Management and guest-lectured at institutions like the University of Southampton and Birkbeck College. He currently serves as an external examiner for the DBA programme at the University of Winchester and previously at the University of Plymouth.
Research interests include strategic management, CSR, and the intersection of corporate sustainability and value-based healthcare. He has led executive education programmes for organizations like Capita plc and S4C. His academic development contributions include designing and validating modules across undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels.
