Brooke McAtee

Dr. Brooke McAtee serves as Director of Nursing and Assistant Professor at Northwest Missouri State University, teaching in the RN to BSN and MSN programs. She began her career in labor and delivery nursing before transitioning to education in 2005. McAtee holds a Ph.D. from Capella University (2020), MSN from University of Phoenix (2008), and BSN from University of Missouri-Columbia (2002).

Her expertise includes nursing curriculum development across practical nursing, associate, and bachelor's degree programs. She served as a Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation site reviewer and maintains a nurse practitioner practice focused on vulnerable populations. McAtee emphasizes accessibility for students through Zoom, text messaging, and virtual meetings.
