Brooke H. Findley is an Associate Professor of French and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Penn State Altoona. She holds a doctoral degree from Duke University and specializes in medieval literature, with a focus on feminist theory and portrayals of medieval women. Her research includes a current book project titled *Poet Heroines in Medieval French Narrative: Gender and Fictions of Literary Creation*. She teaches French language, literature, culture, medieval literature, and women’s studies courses.
