Dr. Brooke E.E. Montgomery is an Assistant Professor at the Fay W. Boozman College of Public Health, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). Her work focuses on sexual health disparities, behavioral interventions for vulnerable populations, and the intersection of violence and HIV/STI risk. She has held leadership roles including Co-Director of the Education and Training Core at the Arkansas Center for Health Disparities (ARCHD) and Principal Investigator on multiple NIH-funded grants.

Research emphasizes:
- Developing interventions to reduce sexual risk behaviors
- Examining HIV/STI disparities among marginalized groups
- Understanding social/cultural factors influencing health behaviors
Recent work includes a controlled trial to reduce risky sex among rural African Americans and systematic reviews of HPV stigma measurement tools. Her research spans violence prevention, PrEP acceptability studies, and translational research bridging clinical and community settings. She currently teaches courses in health behavior theory and grant writing.
