Brooke Crowley

Dr. Brooke Crowley is a Professor in the Department of Geosciences and Anthropology at the University of Cincinnati. She holds a PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from UC Santa Cruz (2009), an MA in Biological Anthropology (2008), an MS in Earth Sciences (2005), and a BA in Geology from Vassar College (2002).

Research Focus: Stable isotope biogeochemistry applied to vertebrate communities, extinction dynamics, environmental impacts of human activities, habitat transformation, and conservation science in both modern and paleoecological contexts.

Recent Research Trends: Publications focus on isotopic analysis of extinct species, climate change impacts on vertebrates, and methodological innovations in isotope ecology. Her work spans diverse ecosystems from Madagascar to Nebraska, emphasizing conservation paleobiology.
