Brodrick Stigall is an Assistant Professor of Teaching in the Computer Science Department at the University of Memphis, joining in Spring 2024. He holds an MS in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology (2018). Prior to academia, he worked for ten years as a software engineer on E-Commerce teams at International Paper and AutoZone. His research focuses on voice user interfaces (VUIs), speech technologies, human-computer interaction, and computer science education, with a particular emphasis on older adult technology adoption. He currently teaches undergraduate computer science courses.
