Brock Wilson is a Research Assistant Professor of Applied Economics at the University of Alaska. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Oregon.

Research Interests: Dr. Wilson specializes in applied microeconomics, focusing on labor markets and public policy impacts. His recent work examines pension generosity effects, disability affirmative action, and retaliation laws on firm dynamics using econometric tools and structural modeling.
Additional Research Areas: He also explores credit markets in developing countries, wildfire economics, and roadway safety. Prior to his academic career, he worked at the Federal Housing Financing Agency on housing research.
