Geoffrey Sanzenbacher is a Professor of the Practice in the Economics Department at Boston College, affiliated with the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences. He is also a Research Fellow at the Center for Retirement Research (CRR). His expertise lies in applied econometrics and microeconomics, focusing on retirement savings decisions, pension systems, and cognitive decline's impact on late-life finances, particularly for low-income workers.
Education: Ph.D. in Economics from Boston College, specializing in labor economics, applied econometrics, and applied microeconomics. Previously, he worked as an economic consultant at Analysis Group in Boston.
