Brittney White is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at Augusta University's College of Allied Health Sciences. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes grace, intellectual curiosity, and practical application, aiming to maximize student potential.
- Ph.D. in Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching from Auburn University (2020)
- MHS in Occupational Therapy from Medical College of Georgia (2008)
- Board-certified in multiple clinical specialties including Parkinson's disease treatment and physical agent modalities
Her research focuses on therapist development, older adult productive aging, and knowledge translation through evidence-based interventions. Recent work examines aging in place strategies, mobility in dementia patients, and functional capacity evaluation standards.
