Dr. Brittany Jellison is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of New Hampshire. Her research focuses on how coastal marine organisms respond to human-altered environments, particularly under global change conditions such as ocean acidification and warming. She uses mechanistic laboratory and field experiments to study trophic cascades, predator-prey interactions, and physiological adaptations in intertidal/subtidal habitats. Her work integrates animal behavior, physiology, and community ecology to address ecological consequences of environmental stressors like seawater pH, temperature, and nutrient loading in the Gulf of Maine.
Education: Ph.D. from the University of California, and a B.S. in Biology from University of California - San Diego.

Labs/Teams: Lead of the Marine Ecophhysiology Lab at UNH, collaborating with the Quantitative Marine Ecology Lab on aquaculture projects. Current efforts focus on developing real-time behavioral tracking tools for bivalves and assessing multi-stressor impacts on early life stages of marine organisms.
