Brittany Brown

Brittany Brown is a Lecturer at the UNC School of Medicine, affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry. She joined UNC two months ago at the Wakebrook Alcohol and Detox Unit, where she facilitates recovery groups, coordinates inpatient and outpatient services, and educates patients on recovery tools to maintain sobriety.

Clinical and Research Interests: Her work focuses on substance abuse treatment, addiction recovery, and mental health education, with additional ties to clinical psychology and rehabilitation services coordination. These interests are derived from her clinical role in psychiatry and behavioral health.
