Dr. Britta Philp is a Lecturer in Human Resources Management and Leadership at The Business School, Edinburgh Napier University, and the Programme Leader for the MSc Business Management (Leadership and Innovation) in collaboration with Hong Kong partners. She holds a BSc, MA, MSc, and is a Senior Fellow of Advance HE. Britta specializes in leadership impact, ethical leadership, human resource development, and flexible work dynamics.
Her research explores workers’ transitions in green energy sectors, emotional labor in telework, and global workforce strategies. Britta has taught at all academic levels, including online and international cohorts. She has secured research grants (£19,168 from the Scottish Institute for Policing Research and £2,000 from Moston Care Foundation) and supervised multiple doctoral candidates in military-to-civilian career transitions and sustainability-focused projects.
