Brigitte Tenni is Co-head of the Equitable Systems for Health program at the Nossal Institute for Global Health, University of Melbourne. She specializes in HIV programming, sexual and reproductive health, and global health governance. Her work addresses barriers to access to medicines, particularly in low-resource settings, and explores the impacts of trade agreements like RCEP and TPP on public health policies.
- Joined Nossal Institute in 2007 as a UN consultant on HIV prevention for sex workers
- Previously worked in Thailand with HIV-positive networks on treatment literacy and stigma reduction
Research interests include drug policy reform, capacity building for healthcare systems, and advancing the Greater Involvement of People Living with HIV & AIDS (GIPA) framework. She holds a Master of Public Health (International Health) from Monash University and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy) from RMIT.
