Dr. Brigid Magner is an Associate Professor and Associate Dean (Learning and Teaching) at RMIT University's School of Media & Communication in Melbourne. She co-directs the non/fictionLab research group and focuses on literary geographies, place-making, and Australian literature. Her work bridges creative practice, environmental humanities, and publishing studies.
Education & Background: Originally from Aotearoa (New Zealand), Magner is based in Naarm (Melbourne). Her research explores intersections between literary production and physical environments, including projects like the ARC-funded 'Reading in the Mallee.'
