Brigid Burke

Brigid Burke is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Religion and Classics and General Humanities at Montclair State University's College of Humanities and Social Sciences. She teaches courses such as Mythology (GNHU 285) and other Humanities subjects. Her research focuses on the interplay between beliefs in life after death and cultural attitudes toward the feminine, beginning with ancient Greek contexts. Burke completed her doctorate in Fall 2016. Her academic specialization includes Religion and Psychology, Western Esotericism, and Comparative Mythology.
