Bridgette J. Peteet is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at Loma Linda University, specializing in health and education disparities with a focus on substance abuse prevention, mental health equity, and multicultural psychology. She directs the Resilience & Disparities (RAD) Lab, which investigates substance use disorders and health inequities through community-inclusive research. Her work emphasizes culturally-responsive interventions for racial/ethnic minorities and marginalized communities.
Dr. Peteet holds a PhD (2005) and MA (2003) in Clinical Psychology from the University of Cincinnati. She is a licensed clinical psychologist in California (License #31726) and Ohio (License #6300). Professional affiliations include roles as Community Engagement Secretary for APA Division 45 (2017-present) and former Treasurer of the Cincinnati Chapter of the Association of Black Psychologists (2014-2019).
