Bridget Lewin

Bridget Lewin is a Continuing Lecturer in the Department of Environmental Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). She holds an M.Ed. in Education with an emphasis on Instruction and Technology and is pursuing a PhD in Education, focusing on teacher education programs as learning organizations. Her roles include teaching Environmental Education courses (ES 127A and 127B), Secondary Science Methods, and Elementary Science Methods. She also owns a science education consulting business and serves as an elementary science consultant for Santa Barbara Unified School District.

Education: M.Ed., University of California, Santa Barbara. Teaching credential in Life Sciences (UCSB). Ongoing PhD research on educational program dynamics. Past roles include high school teacher at Anacapa School, educator at an Environmental Science Center in Houston, and co-organizer of an undergraduate EE course during her UCSB BA in Environmental Sciences.

Research interests center on Environmental Education pedagogy, learning methodologies, and integrating technology into science education.
