Brian S. Adler

Brian S. Adler serves as a Lecturer at the University of Miami School of Law while maintaining an active legal practice as a Partner at Bilzin Sumberg law firm specializing in Land Development & Government Relations. With over twenty years of experience, he has developed extensive knowledge of land use, zoning, and development processes across South Florida, particularly in Miami-Dade County and its municipalities.

Adler earned both his J.D. and B.A. degrees cum laude from the University of Miami. His professional journey has seen him build solid working relationships with municipal and county government staff and officials at various levels across dozens of South Florida jurisdictions.

His expertise spans land use and zoning, drafting zoning opinion letters for lenders, entitlement and acquisition due diligence, permitting, platting, water and sewer, and environmental matters.
