Brian Reginald Harrison

Brian Reginald Harrison is a Professor of Advertising at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Atlanta, since August 2021. He holds an M.F.A. in Advertising from SCAD and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Florida A&M University. Prior to academia, he held leadership roles in marketing and creative industries, including Director of Marketing and Sales Enablement at Cox2M (2019–2021), Manager of New Growth and Development at Cox Communications (2017–2019), and Senior User Experience Designer at Autotrader/Cox Automotive (2015–2017). He founded and led Coldfinger Studios (2003–2015), a creative agency recognized at prestigious film festivals.

His research interests span strategic marketing, user experience design, and innovative brand communication. His professional experience emphasizes data-driven marketing strategies, cross-functional team leadership, and the application of emerging technologies like AR in product development. He has contributed to brand framework development, competitive intelligence systems, and scalable creative solutions across digital and traditional media.

Notable achievements include award-winning creative work at Cannes, Sundance, and ABFF, as well as pioneering hybrid product/UX systems at Autotrader. His interdisciplinary background bridges engineering and art, influencing his approach to advertising education and industry collaboration.
