Brian Rauch is a Research Professor of Physics at Washington University in St. Louis, affiliated with the McDonnell Center for the Space Sciences. He leads the SuperTIGER-II experiment and serves as Institution PI for Washington University’s participation in CALET (International Space Station) and ANITA (neutrino detection). His roles include Principal Investigator, postdoctoral research scientist, and beam test coordinator.

Research Focus: Cosmic ray composition and propagation, high-energy astrophysics. Projects include:
- SuperTIGER: Ultra-heavy galactic cosmic ray analysis
- CALET: Electron/nuclei/gamma-ray measurements
- ANITA: Highest-energy neutrino and UHECR detection
- TIGERISS/HNX: Next-gen cosmic ray experiment design
Technical Contributions: CERN beam tests, ANITA-III/IV integration, SLAC T-510 geomagnetic radio emission experiments. Also contributed to nuclear reactor safety and hyperspectral image analysis.
Awards: 2014 NASA Group Achievement Award for SuperTIGER's groundbreaking cosmic ray composition measurements.
