Brian Le

Brian Le is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), affiliated with the IMPACCT research centre in the Faculty of Health. He is a Palliative Care Physician and Medical Oncologist, serving as Precinct Director of Palliative Care at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. He holds honorary professorships at the University of Melbourne and is co-Chair of the Palliative Care Clinical Studies Collaborative. His research focuses on palliative care service delivery, pain management, and pharmacogenomics in cancer patients.

Le has secured over $8.2 million in research funding as a chief or associate investigator. His work includes studies on opioid prescribing practices, telemedicine in palliative care, and clinical trials for neuropathic pain management. He actively contributes to policy through roles with government and community organizations like Palliative Care Victoria and the Victorian Clinical Council.
