Key publications include the award-winning The Ethics of Creativity: Beauty, Morality, and Nature in a Processive Cosmos and co-edited works like Whitehead at Harvard, 1924-1925. He has delivered over 190 talks globally and contributes to climate action initiatives through fossil fuel divestment advocacy and sustainability projects.

- 2021: Founded Gonzaga Institute for Climate, Water, and Environment
- 2015-2020: Gonzaga's Inaugural Faculty Fellow for Sustainability
His scholarly focus on Whitehead's late works challenges traditional metaphysical frameworks, advocating for open-ended, fallibilistic systems that address climate change, evolutionary ethics, and the interplay of creativity and beauty in moral philosophy.
