Brian Hand

Brian Hand is Head of Sculpture and Expanded Practice at the National College of Art and Design (NCAD) in Dublin. His art practice explores historical events through temporary public installations and site-specific works.

Research interests focus on post-colonial historiography and alternative historical narratives, with projects addressing themes including secret societies, prisons, suffragettes, and Irish cultural symbols. He has exhibited internationally at venues such as:
