Brian Goss is a Professor in the Department of Communication at Saint Louis University's Madrid campus. He holds a Ph.D. in Politics and Media from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has established a distinguished research profile in critical media studies, journalism, and film analysis.

His recent publications analyze media narratives in outlets like The Express, National Review, and Newsmax, identifying patterns of sham journalism and weaponized flak. His scholarly work spans high-impact journals including Journal of Communication Inquiry, Journalism Studies, and Studies in European Cinema.
