Brian Gerling

Brian Gerling is a Professor of Practice and Executive Director of the Innovation Law Center at Syracuse University College of Law. He teaches Innovation Law and oversees the Innovation Law Practicum, where students from the College of Law and across Syracuse University gain hands-on experience assisting companies with intellectual property, regulatory analysis, market research, and capital sourcing initiatives.

As leader of the Innovation Law Practicum, he provides structured advising to student teams tackling client projects in technology commercialization.
