Brian Fullen is an Assistant Professor of Music and Coordinator of Percussion Studies at Trevecca Nazarene University's School of Music and Worship Arts. He serves as an adjunct professor of commercial percussion and maintains active roles in performance, education, and industry collaborations. His academic background includes a Master of Arts in jazz pedagogy/performance from Memphis State University and a Bachelor of Music in percussion performance from Capital University.

His research and performance interests focus on jazz drumming techniques, percussion pedagogy, and contemporary commercial styles. He has authored three instructional books: Jazz Standards For Drumset, Bass Drum Essentials For Drumset, and Contemporary Country Styles For The Drummer And Bassist. Fullen is a Yamaha, Zildjian, and Innovative Percussion clinician and designer of the BNA-1 Nashville drumstick.
As a performer, he has toured with notable artists such as Peter Frampton, Shania Twain, and The Imperials. He contributed to Grammy Award-winning recordings including Songs From The Neighborhood and The Music Of Mister Rogers, and appeared on PBS specials like Disney Songbook. His work extends to the Nashville music scene and church worship teams, collaborating with Keith and Kristyn Getty and others.
Outside academia, Brian and his wife, Chris, are active in Brentwood Baptist Church and have two grown children.
