Dr. Brian E. Lee serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of History within McNeese State University's College of Liberal Arts. His research specializes in modern United States history with particular focus on the Kennedy Administration and Civil Rights Movement, currently developing a book manuscript titled A Matter of National Concern: The Kennedy Administration’s Campaign to Restore Public Education to Prince Edward County, Virginia under contract with the University Press of Kansas.
His academic credentials include:
