Dr. Brian Dolinar is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at West Virginia University's C. Eugene Bennett Department of Chemistry, part of the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on synthetic inorganic chemistry, magnetochemistry, and computational chemistry with an emphasis on metal-metal bonded complexes and radical-bridged single molecule magnets. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin–Madison (2016) under John Berry, followed by postdoctoral research at Texas A&M University with Kim Dunbar.
- Education: Ph.D. Chemistry (2016), University of Wisconsin–Madison
- Postdoc: Texas A&M University (2016–2019)
Teaching responsibilities include CHEM 422 and CHEM 522 courses in inorganic chemistry. The Dolinar Group actively seeks motivated graduate students to study compounds with unique magnetic properties and metal-metal bonds. Contact via CRL 257 or (304) 293-4280.
