Brian D. Kiluk is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine, serving as Director of the Psychotherapy Development Center and Technology-Based Interventions. His research focuses on enhancing evidence-based treatments for substance use disorders, particularly through digital cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and understanding treatment mechanisms. Kiluk leads NIH-funded grants exploring CBT efficacy, neurobiological changes in addiction, and health equity in clinical trials. He completed his PhD at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and postdoctoral training at Yale. Notable contributions include developing culturally adapted digital interventions and improving recruitment diversity in substance use studies.
