Brian Avers serves as Associate Professor of Theater at Boston Conservatory at Berklee within Berklee, joining the institution in 2025.
He earned his Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from New York University.
Avers integrates his extensive professional experience as a stage, screen, and voice actor into academic practice. His expertise spans theater performance, directing, voice acting, playwriting, and film production, developed through lead roles in Tony Award-winning Broadway productions (The Father, Rock 'n' Roll, American Son), off-Broadway premieres, and collaborations with renowned artists including Tom Stoppard and Martin McDonagh.
With over 25 years of mentorship experience, Avers has coached aspiring artists across theater and performance disciplines, emphasizing practical industry skills and creative development.
