Brett Yardley is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at DeSales University. He is a PhD candidate at KU Leuven and Marquette University, completing a dissertation on testimony and tradition in medieval Judaism, Islam, and Christianity. His work bridges contemporary social epistemology with historical medieval philosophy, focusing on trust, authoritative testimony, and knowledge transmission.

His research emphasizes the application of social epistemology to medieval thought, particularly through the works of Thomas Aquinas, al-Ghazali, and Saadya Gaon. Recent publications include analyses of perspectivalism in epistemology and cross-cultural metaphysics of revelation. He has presented at conferences such as the 7th Annual Symposium on Medieval & Renaissance Studies and the AAIWG International Meeting.
