معرفی
Brett Le Saint is a post-doctoral researcher in anthropology at the University of Picardie Jules Verne (UPJV), affiliated with the Living in the World Laboratory. His work centers on migration dynamics in Southeast Asia, with specialized focus on Laos-Thailand border communities and Laotian diaspora memory transmission in France. He actively contributes to multiple UPJV graduate programs including Geography/Socio-Anthropology, Culture/Heritage/Digital Innovations (CPIN), and Dynamics of Territories (DyGiTer).
His research intersects migration anthropology, memory studies, and border theory through long-term ethnographic analysis. Key investigations examine how cross-border circulations produce social and political reconfigurations, particularly through narratives of displacement and belonging. Current projects analyze infrastructure promises in urban settings alongside cultural heritage preservation challenges, utilizing methodological frameworks that bridge spatial and symbolic analysis.
Associated with the Living in the World Laboratory, Le Saint operates within three scientific axes:
- Promises of urban and technological infrastructures
- Cultural and heritage issues
- Methodological cross-sectional approaches
Le Saint maintains professional engagement through ORCID (0000-0001-5641-4630) and IdHAL (brett-le-saint), with primary contact via lesaintbrett@gmail.com. His scholarly profile reflects active participation in anthropological discourse on mobility, though current grant details and supervision capacity remain unspecified in available materials.
