Brendan Whitty

Brendan Whitty is a Lecturer in Non-Profit Management at the School of Management, University of St Andrews. His research focuses on critical sociology, examining social responses to poverty as counter-movements to market-driven processes, with emphasis on international development in the UK. He teaches courses on NGOs and social enterprises and has extensive field experience in conflict and post-conflict states since 2004, including roles as an evaluator for adaptive governance projects.
