Dr. Brendan N. Wolfe is the Principal Editor of the St Andrews Encyclopaedia of Theology, an international project creating a free online theological resource. He holds the role of Principal Investigator for the Text & Image project, exploring cognitive effects of religious art and co-founding the Art as Revelation initiative. His research focuses on historical theology, philology, and the history of Christianity in Fife. He co-edited works on the Inklings and founded the Journal of Inklings Studies. Previously, he taught at Oxford and researched in Berlin before joining St Mary’s College in 2014.

Research Interests: Encyclopaedic theology, cognitive psychology of religious art, Gothic Bible studies, Fife Christian history, and the Inklings. His work bridges philology, theology, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Grants/Projects: Lead roles in the St Andrews Encyclopaedia, Text & Image, and Sacred Landscape Project. Collaborates on Art as Revelation and the Fife Cultural Coastal Zone initiative.
