Brendan Hassett is the Jonathan Nelson University Professor of Mathematics at Brown University and Director of the Institute for Computational and Experimental Research in Mathematics (ICERM). His research focuses on algebraic geometry and number theory, with particular emphasis on rationality problems, moduli spaces, and birational geometry. He has organized numerous conferences, including Simons Symposia and collaborations with institutions like the National Science Foundation and Simons Foundation.
