Dr. Brendan Doody is a Research Associate at the School of Geography and Planning, University of Sheffield, specializing in Urban Robotics. His work intersects mobility, urban life, and technological innovation.
He has held postdoctoral positions at the University of Oxford (2017-2022) and University of Cambridge (2015-2017), focusing on vehicle automation, electrification, and sustainability. Previously, he worked at GNS Science in New Zealand (2008-2011) on energy and climate change.
Educationally, he earned a PhD in Geography from Durham University under a Commonwealth Scholarship, alongside a Bachelor of Recreation Management (Parks) and a Master of Applied Science from Lincoln University, New Zealand.
