Brendan Crowell

Brendan Crowell is Assistant Professor in the School of Earth Sciences at Ohio State University, leading the Seismogeodesy Laboratory. His research develops real-time GPS methodologies for natural hazard early warning systems.

Key expertise includes:

• Earthquake and tsunami early warning using GNSS data
• Transient deformation detection in GPS time series
• Seismogeodetic analysis of fault systems

Prior to Ohio State, he contributed to the ShakeAlert system during 11 years at University of Washington.
