Brendan C. Mattingly is an Associate Teaching Professor and Program Director for the Bachelor of Science in Applied Biological Sciences and the post-Baccalaureate certificate in Health Sciences at the University of Kansas School of Professional Studies. With over 10 years of faculty experience, he focuses on teaching and supporting undergraduate students, especially transfer and non-traditional students, and mentors undergraduate research.
Education:

- Ph.D. in Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology, University of Kansas
Research Interests:
Mattingly's research and teaching interests span molecular biology, cellular biology, microbiology, developmental biology, genetics, biotechnology, and health sciences. He explores the genetic mechanisms underlying life processes across various biological systems with emphasis on educational applications.
