Brenda M. Coppard is a Professor of Occupational Therapy at Creighton University's School of Pharmacy and Health Professions. She holds roles in the Dean's Office - Pharmacy, OT, PT, and the Office of Assessment Faculty. With over 30 years of experience, she teaches in entry-level and post-professional Occupational Therapy Doctoral programs, spanning traditional, hybrid, and online formats.
Dr. Coppard earned a BA from Creighton University, an MS in Occupational Therapy from Rush University, and a PhD in Higher Educational Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She serves as a peer reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission and the American Council on Education.
Her research focuses on student debt, educational outcomes, challenges facing the American professoriate, and the academic chair role. She is actively engaged in program development and interprofessional education initiatives.
