Brenda D. Wingfield

Brenda D. Wingfield is a pioneering Professor at the University of Pretoria with over 25 years of contributions to plant pathology and mycology. She holds key roles in the Forestry and Agricultural Biotechnology Institute (FABI) and co-founded both the Tree Protection Co-operative Programme and Tree Pathology Co-operative Programme. Her work spans fungal genetics, forest health, and agricultural disease management across multiple continents.
