Bren Harrison is an Assistant Professor and Pre-Professional Program Coordinator at the University of Bridgeport’s College of Health Sciences, School of Health Professions. She teaches courses such as Biomechanics, Kinesiology, and Grant Proposal Writing.

Her research focuses on gait analysis, upper body biomechanics in elite SUP athletes, and endurance performance in extreme/wilderness athletes (e.g., rock climbers, surfers, kayakers). She also investigates metabolic responses to exercise modalities like treadwalls and cycle ergometers.
Recent publications analyze metabolic responses in climbing and comparative exercise testing, highlighting her work in athletic physiology and performance optimization.
