Braxton D. Shelley is an Associate Professor of Music, Sacred Music, and Divinity at Yale University, serving as Director of the Program in Music and the Black Church. He holds a BA from Duke University (2012), a Master of Divinity, and a PhD in The History and Theory of Music from the University of Chicago.
